At LuckyHog, we realize there is rarely just one way to play a game. Often there are different types or sizes of bets you can make on a game that greatly affect your perception or enjoyment of the game. Our gaming tips of the month should help you find what way of playing is just right for you!
This Month’s Tip: American Roulette
The main question to ask yourself when playing Roulette is "who am I?" In our years of experience we’ve found that players whose play suits their personality type have more fun and play longer. Roulette offers something for every type of personality. Here are three ways to play that you might choose from:
- Conservative – If having fun and playing for a long time with little risk is your style, you might try covering many numbers with just a few chips. The bets that best suit this personality type are Corners, Streets, Double Streets, and Outside bets like Red and Black. Playing this way, you’ll almost always win something on a spin, and should be able to happily play for hours!
- Aggressive – If you like gigantic wins and don’t mind the occasional loss, you might try picking just a few numbers and "loading them up." This way, while you’ll have more spins than the conservative player that don’t pay, the big wins should more than make up for the spins where you don’t hit anything. Remember, it only takes a few hits at 35 to 1 to turn a small stack into large mountainous piles of chips.
- Analytical – If you’re the type of player that loves manipulating numbers and statistics into big wins, Roulette is just right for you. Whether there are tendencies in which section of the wheel the ball hits most, or a certain group of numbers that are overdue to hit, or whether black or red numbers are "hot" or "cold", there is plenty of information for the astute player to analyze at the Roulette table. Perhaps it’s time to try YOUR theory today!
